The school day begins at 9.00am and finishes as 3.15pm.

Total hours provided in a week: 9:00 am until 3:15pm (31.25 hours per week)

Morning Registration: 8:30-9:00 am
End of compulsory school day: 3:15 pm

Parents, carers and children are able to have access to the school site from 8.30am.

When the playground doors open at 8.30am children can quietly and sensibly walk into the school mugas, giving them time to get organised for their learning and have the opportunity to talk to their friends and teacher.

Teachers are ready to supervise the children that come in at this time and teaching assistants supervise the doors.

Any children that choose not to come in at 8.30am must walk quietly and sensibly to the door before they close at 8.45 am.

There are different entrances for different classes:

• Year R will go in through one YR door.
• Years 1, 1/2 and 2 will come in via the classroom doors
• Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 will enter via the double doors near the back muga.

At the end of the day teachers escort the children to the appropriate outside door or playground. Children will be told not to leave until the adult they are expecting collects them.

Parents and carers must notify the school in writing if their child is allowed to walk home without an adult or collect a younger sibling.

Parents and carers must notify the Class Teacher or school office before 2.30pm if someone else is collecting their child.
